The FAT TIRE Crew worked with the DCNR to complete a long-awaited trail from Little Clear Creek Trail to the Laurel Fields.  Using a lot of muscle and a few power tools, the trail was completed by the Crew in a few workdays. Officially named the "Laurel Trail" (see the above signage posted in 2008 on the trail) this trail will lead hikers to and from the Laurel Fields to Clear Creek State Park. The FAT TIRE Crew feels great pride in seeing the FAT TIRE Challenge race course become a year-round multiple use trail.
