In early June 2006 the FAT TIRE Challenge race started with a bang!  Beginning and ending on Main St. in Brookville, PA, the race had a historical backdrop with the century-old Jefferson County Courthouse.  38 riders braved cool weather that Saturday on a 15 mile course that zigged and zagged across a local farm.  It boasted a serious downhill and a lot of log crossings...but no one seemed to mind.
